How To do a General Love Reading Using Playing Cards
A Simple Tutorial
If you happen to have a deck of playing cards hanging around then you can do a simple love reading for yourself to get a little clarity on a romantic situation. So, if you’re curious about what is going on between you and your person then this is for you.
The Steps
Step 1: Begin by shuffling the cards while thinking about your person.
Step 2: When you feel ready, stop shuffling and pull out one card from the deck (you can pull from anywhere). This card represents what is going to happen or is currently happening between the two of you.
Step 3: Now begin to sort the rest of the cards into two piles. One pile is your person's pile, the other is yours. Let’s say their pile is on the left and yours is on the right.
Step 4: When you’re done sorting, grab your person’s pile and search for any doubles. For example, if there are two 8s together then you take them out and put them on your person’s side. When you’re done begin to go through your pile and also look for any doubles.
Step 5: Repeat steps 3 & 4 two more times.
Card Meanings:
Ace = Wanting a new beginning
2 = Love
3 = An upsetting situation
4 = They like you (or if it lands on your side then you like them)
5 = They’re talking about you.
6 = Sexual feelings
7 = jealousy
8= Meeting up or seeing each other
9 = message
10 = distance (emotionally or physically)
J = Immature or younger person
Q = A woman or feminine person
K = A man or masculine person
Reading Example
In this reading the two people like and want each other.
On the left, we can see that there are people around the person who they’re confiding in about their person of interest. We know that because of the jack, king & 5.
They could be talking about wanting to see their person of interest, (8) or they actually might be seeing them soon.
The person on the right is feeling jealous over another woman or someone who has feminine energy (7 & queen).
They may want a new beginning (Ace) or they may be feeling jealous over a new beginning that this other person is going through.
It’s simple to read these kinds of cards as they’re very straight forward, and though they have very general meanings they can tell a story and shine a light on a situation and give clarity.
